All I can honestly say is.....fuck me.
Have Something.

You say that now, but when you get into the habit of even a really light workout (1.5 miles with enough training can be 10-15 minutes), you will honestly feel so much better in general.
Go start pounding pavement!

Time for a bike

Why that sounds awesome? I run two miles after working out every day I would kill to get credits for that.

But in a CS major

Wow, a whole mile and a half!

I was Television and Digital Media with a concentration in Production (sitting on my ass).
Think of it this way, when the server is on fire on the other side of the building, and the backup didn't finish, you need to get there stat.
Inherently though, CS majors aren't very useful for where I work. Trust me, I'd rather be running than taking a class on microsoft office.

What's your point?
I was a CS Major, I run marathons, swim two hours a day and ride centuries. Get off your ass.
![]() 08/27/2014 at 11:53 |

then you have no idea what a CS major does we are programmers. Not CIS majors

what class. y are they doing this? I did 4.5 miles yeasterday. 1.5 should be ok for someone who is in average shape.

I would look into it. Mine is very helpful

I build and repair, I long since left coding because it never retained my interest, even with linux development.
Couldnt pay me enough to stare at a computer screen all day trying to work out the bugs.

I did 2 miles on sunday, plan on 3 tonight, you'll be fine.
Slow and steady my friend, its a long run (at least for you) don't sprint. And don't be that jackass rookie runner I see at 5ks that sprints for 100 yards so he can walk again. If I pass you more than once I have a distinct urge to trip you lol.

Nope, sorry CS grad here and I run that everyday so if I can get my fat lazy ass off the couch you can too.

What does that have to do with actually getting in the habit of working out?
I work in marketing and project management in the tech industry averaging 12+ hours a day. I still cycle nearly 400 miles a week, lift at the gym for 6 hours a week and play various sports while maintaining a social life, girlfriend and other side jobs.
Being fit is a good thing and makes sitting a desk all day far easier.

I killed 3 this morning. Felt so good, may kill another 3 this afternoon! The weather here is cool and dry right now so it's prime!

Really? You going to make me relive Data structures, discrete math, Artificial Intelligence? Gahhh!
![]() 08/27/2014 at 15:26 |

Discrete that bad? cause I'm taking it next semester
![]() 08/27/2014 at 16:05 |

Discrete is more annoying the difficult. The truth tables are fun but writing out proofs kinda blows. I'm taking Automata Theory this semester which is supposedly Discrete 2.0.
